It is our pleasure to welcome you to the Wayne State University Internal Medicine Residency Program at Crittenton Hospital and Medical Center. Our program is an ACGME accredited program which emphasizes the role of the residents as leaders and teachers. We are especially proud of our dedicated faculty and highly motivated and enthusiastic residents to continually improve and expand our program. Our residency program offers the unique opportunity to train at a WSU Residency program in the beautiful setting of Rochester Hills, Michigan. The Wayne State University Internal Medicine Residency Program's mission is to train physicians to become compassionate, outstanding internists skilled in the practice of Internal Medicine and committed to excellence and lifelong learning.
The resources available to our residents for training and education are outstanding. The Detroit Medical Center is one of the largest teaching complexes in the nation. Our residents rotate through a number of unique training sites to gain a broad exposure to clinical medicine.
There are ten subspecialty fellowship programs that are directed primarily through the department's divisions with oversight from medical education.
Internal Medicine Residency Verification Requests
The fee for Residency training verification requests is $50.00. Requests are accepted via mail, email or fax. Check payments should be mailed to the following address in the amount of $50.00 per verification requestpayable to: WSUPG.
